Mike Austin is a philosophy professor from Kentucky whose blog, Discursus offers, "Conversations about Morality and the Good Life." Recently Mike posted some of the suggested actions he liked from Our Day to End Poverty.
Our purpose: We incubate and scale ventures that create a better world.
Our vision for the world: The world is already connected; we make the connections visible so individual actions have incredible impact on the critical social issues of our times.
Our vision for ourselves: Criterion is a nimble, wonderfully-connected organization that achieves dramatic good for the world.
Criterion’s work has, from the beginning, been driven by three core values: grace, hospitality and the power of invitation. These touchstones shape our business decisions and have shaped our methodology. We are, and have always been, value-driven players in a value-driven marketplace.
